About the Role:
Pediatric & Neonatal Specialists PS in Louisville, KY is looking for a dedicated Medical Office – Back Desk to join our passionate healthcare team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital support role in a specialized clinical environment focused on the care of our youngest and most vulnerable patients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage back desk operations
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and front office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Support clinical staff with scheduling, and follow-up communications
- Ensure compliance with pediatric and neonatal care protocols and documentation standards
Requirements:
- Experience in a medical office, clinical, or healthcare administrative setting preferred
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced pediatric or specialty care environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team collaboration
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical or healthcare certification a plus
